The Embedded Linux Conference (ELC) is the premier vendor-neutral technical conference for companies and developers using Linux in embedded products. This conference, now in it’s 8th year, has the largest collection of sessions dedicated exclusively to embedded Linux and embedded Linux developers. ELC is embedded Linux experts talking about solutions to your embedded Linux problems. ELC consists of 3 days of presentations, tutorials and Bird-of-a-Feather sessions. There are over 50 sessions to choose from, on a wide variety of topics.

CircuitCo, together with Texas Instrument (TI), will demonstrate different BeagleBoard products including the original BeagleBoard, BeagleBoard-xM, and the long-awaiting BeagleBone. Also featured on the demo show are various BeagleBone capes manufactured by BeagleBoardToys. Some of these capes are already in production, whereas the others will be soon. Followings are brief descriptions of some products we will demonstrate at ELC 2012:

BeagleBoard

A low-cost, fan-less single board computer that unleashes laptop-like performance and expandability without the bulk, expense, or noise of typical desktop machines.

BeagleBoard-xM

Delivers extra ARM ® Cortex TM -A8 MHz now at 1 GHz and extra memory with 512MB of low-power DDR RAM, enabling hobbyists, innovators and engineers to go beyond their current imagination.

BeagleBone

A bare-bones BeagleBoard that acts as a USB or Ethernet connected expansion companion for your current BeagleBoard and BeagleBoard-xM or works stand-alone.

BeagleBone Breadboard

The BeagleBone Breadboard is designed to provide a simple but productive prototyping space. With each purchase including an adhesive solderless breadboard and jumper wire kit (140 pieces in 14 different lengths), the BeagleBone Breadboard offers users a powerful prototyping tool without the needs of soldering.

BeagleBone Breakout Cape

The BeagleBone Breakout provides easy access to the BeagleBone components and test points during troubleshooting processes. There are two cutouts on the breakout cape, and each cutout is equipped with a set of two 46-pin connectors. One connector set is for the BeagleBone board, whereas the other is for its capes.

BeagleBone DVI-D Cape

The DVI-D cape provides a DVI-D interface for BeagleBone boards. The DVI-D output is 16-bit and provided via the HDMI connector for smaller size. By outputting 16-bit DVI-D signal, more pins can be exposed at the expansion headers.

BeagleBone LCD7 Cape

The BeagleBone LCD7 is a top-level cape with touchscreen capability for use with BeagleBone boards. The top side of this cape features a 7″ TFT LCD screen, which can display up to 800×480 resolution, as well as a 4-wire resistive touchscreen and four user buttons.
